GUARDIAN MEDIA GROUP ACQUIRES CENTURY RADIO
GMG is financing the acquisition price from its own cash resources and borrowing facilities.
The two regional stations, which broadcast across the North East and North West of England, have a combined Total Survey Area (TSA) of over 7 million adults and enjoy the same format as the successful Real Radio brand.

OFCOM Agree on a New Home for Q96
Real Radio acquired the Paisley based radio station with a TSA of (690,000) in June this year from media company Ulster Television (UTV).

Profits and Revenue Record
Trading for both its Real Radio and Smooth brands was up 26% from April to June 2006.
The increase in revenue comes after The Guardian Media Group Plc reported last week that revenue growth for its radio stations for the year to April 2006 outperformed the market with a 13.
